Board of Directors


Rich Flanery~ President

Rich has been in the financial lending business for the past 13 years and is currently operating manager of Cherry Creek Mortgage Company in Estes Park. He is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, a designation of which only a handful of people in his field have attained. Rich is also President of Kaecon Inc. a wealth management systems company. He is also involved with Strategic Coach International, an entrepreneurial business program. Prior to working in the lending industry he worked for an international marketing company and for fortunate 500 company, Pitney Bowes.

Rich resides in Estes Park with his wife, Sherry and their two kids Connor and Kaelin. He is an avid skier, road bicyclist and golfer. He is also involved in the community as a youth sports coach.

Rich has served as treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce and is an affiliate with the Estes Park Board of Realtors.


Marcy Predmore ~ Vice President

Marcy has been in the Insurance and Benefits industry for the past six years. Prior to this she owned and operated Classic Hair Designs for 27 years. She also grew up in Estes and attended Estes Park High School.

Marcy is a loyal and longtime resident of Estes Park, moving here 40 years ago with her family to start a restaurant. She is very active in Sunrise Rotary, and volunteers for youth projects. Her main interest right now is the Estes Park Interact Club??? (Need a "Read More" link.

Marcy has also served on many boards. Boy Scouts, her son, Michael holds the rank of Eagle Scout, and built the baseball dugouts.


Julie Phares ~ Treasurer

Julie Phares has lived in Estes Park since 1982. She has earned the title as “a local”. She been working in the Insurance Industry for the past 11 years. She currently works for Insurance Associates of Estes Park as a Producer for both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines. She is married to Charles Phares and they have a son, Marshall. Julie has three other children Bridget, George, & Sean.

During her years here in Estes Park she has served on the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies Board, The Estes Park Swim Club, Hospital Foundation, and numerous Boards of Rotary. She is extremely active in Rotary and will be District Governor for District 5440 in 2013-2-14. In her spare time Julie like to play golf and travel.

She has served on the EVPC Board of Directors for 3 years and she is extremely excited in the progress this organization is making and looks forward to the future and what EVPC can bring to this community.


Karen Tucker ~ Secretary

Is a native Coloradan who came to Estes Park as a college kid and moved here permanently in 1978. An educator for over 42 years, Karen is presently working with the EVPC Board as the Secretary and force behind the creation of the Estes Valley Business Development Center. Undergraduate work was completed at Northern Arizona University and an MA awarded by the University of Northern Colorado. Karen has served as a teacher, the Induction Coordinator, the SWAP (School to Work Alliance Program) Coordinator, the Homeschool and Homeless Coordinator for Park School District R-3 and a teacher for 32 years in Estes Park.

A three-time business owner, Karen was one of the founding forces behind EVPC in May, 2009. Welcome to Estes Valley Partners for Commerce and enjoy the business development, support, and advocacy offered with your membership in EVPC.
